Data Exchange keeps design data connected to a single source of truth, and helps streamline coordination, improve documentation workflows, and simplify drawing creation.

Connect Revit to Other AEC tools
Data Exchanges are stored in the cloud in Forma Data Management*, so you can create and access exchanges in a browser or with an ecosystem of our connectors.

• Use a variety of app connectors to create and use exchanges with Autodesk and non-Autodesk tools, such as Power BI, Autodesk® Navisworks®, Autodesk® Inventor®, Autodesk®Civil 3D®, Rhino, Tekla Structures, Archicad, Dynamo (beta),Autodesk®AutoCAD® (beta), SolidWorks (beta), and Power Automate (beta).
• Use cloud connectors to create exchanges directly from files in Forma Data Management.

Compatibility Notice:

• Autodesk Data Exchange Connector for Revit version 1.13.0 and later: Works with any version of the Dynamo Connector. You do not need to match connector versions.
• Autodesk Data Exchange Connector for Revit version 1.12.0 and 1.12.1: Compatible with Dynamo Connector v1.12.0. We recommend using these matching versions while using both connectors together.
