SOLIDOS

TBN2NET - plugins para Engenharia

Program for device modeling, dimensioning and simulation

Trial

The SOLIDOS plugin is a program for modeling parametric and 3D devices, for current works of art projects, in addition to dimensioning urban drainage, water and Sewage Networks. The plugin runs within Autodesk® Civil 3D® to make use of alignments, profiles and surfaces.

As it runs within Civil 3D, there is no need to export the project or even the network to external programs, scale and then import the results into the drawing, or manually modify the drawing.

Using the Civil 3D tools and the plugin's exclusive tools, it is possible to launch the nets, without worrying about dimensions or diameters, just the position. This makes it possible for drawings to be prepared for printing even before design.

After that, the designer makes use of the plugin's Designing machine, which interprets the chosen network showing the spreadsheet dynamically, where the values ?? can be edited and reflected in the project immediately.

Upstream or downstream dimensions can be modified graphically or manually, in multiple or one run at a time. Sections can be arbitrated in a snippet and subsequent ones will change automatically. The PVs will be replaced to match the pipes leading to it.

The SOLIDOS program has several rainfall equations from all over the country and it is very simple to add other equations. In the water and Sewage Networks, there are several methods for forecasting population growth, since the network is dimensioned at the beginning and end of the project period. The generation of reports and quantitative automated by the plugin, with the possibility of inserting dynamic tables in the project or external reports.

The SOLIDOS program has the SWMM (Storm Management Model) and EPANET (Application for Modeling Drinking Water Distribution Systems) calculation engines, with full integration with these programs.

Thinking about serving the national market, the SOLIDOS plugin has a catalog of parts compatible with those seen in the Album of typical projects of DNIT and a catalog of parts compatible with the Album of devices of DER-SP, more complete.

The SOLIDOS plugin has been developed thinking about including the functions of C3DRENESG, a plugin for Designing drainage and Sewage Networks, also authored by this developer. All the functions implemented in C3DRENESG are present in the SOLIDOS plugin and have been improved.

The plugin does not use Civil 3D's PipeNetwork or Pressure Pipes. These have serious limitations that have prevented C3DRENESG upgrades for years. For modeling, an environment similar to that of Autodesk®  Subassembly Composer was developed, where a flowchart describes the device modeling in 3D, with dozens of easy-to-use tools.

The networks do not necessarily need to be drainage, water or sewage. The Constructor was thought to be more general, so it's possible to create devices for other purposes.

The first SOLIDOS version was released in 2020.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

The SOLIDOS program runs on Civil 3D 2016 and higher

Implement your own Toolspace with tabs for the prospector, settings, properties and sizing. It is not yet possible to embed the program in the Civil 3D Toolspace.

The modeling interface is similar to Subassembly Composer, which makes learning a lot easier. All devices included in the catalog are open for viewing and editing.

There is no link between TBN2NET and Autodesk®. Any support regarding the SOLIDOS program must be made through the channels informed at https://tbn2net.com

Support for Civil 3D, may be hired separately.

The program imports Pipenetwork networks from Civil 3D, as long as the device and property mapping is correctly configured.

The dimensioning of drainage networks is done in the rational and modified rational method, following the HEC-22 (the same for Gravity Network and C3DRENESG4)

The dimensioning of sewage networks is done using the contribution method in progress (used in C3DRENESG4), adopted by the main concessionaires in Brazil
