Change the Linear and Angular Speed of the saved viewpoints with just a click of a button.
Reset Speed(s) can help you reset the viewport’s linear and angular speed back to a predefined speed thereby saving you the time and effort required to manually reset it every time you visit a saved viewpoint.
Alternatively, you can also use this tool to batch update the linear and angular speed(s) of all saved viewpoints through the saved viewpoints’ XML file.

What else should I know about this product?
- For ease of use, it is recommended to pin the Reset Speed(s) button to the Quick Access Toolbar. In order to do that, go to BIMSIO tab and right click on the Reset Speed(s) icon and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
- While defining the speed keep an eye out on the units to get accurate results. i.e. If you want the linear speed to be 50 ft/sec, but the settings window is asking for speed in inch/sec, you need to enter 600 to get the desired result.
Are there any known issues with this product?
Speed doesn’t get updated as defined in the settings
- Make sure your document units and display units are same.
- To check the document units, select the file in the Selection Tree, right-click and select Unit and Transform…
- To check the display units, go to File Menu > Options (or press F12) and navigate to Interface > Display Units
