IFC Importer for AutoCAD is a data exchange plugin that helps users to Import IFC files exported from BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, etc inside AutoCAD as blocks

1. All BIM information from IFC files including geometry, parameters, materials, and all other metadata will be imported inside AutoCAD without any loss of data.

2. Components can be grouped together based on their IFC categories such as pipes, walls, ducts, windows, etc.

3. Supports IFC 2X3 & IFC Zip formats.

4. Multilingual support available - English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German

Are there any known issues with this product?

The following are the Known issues & Limitations in the product,

·There is a limitation with importing Railings inside the IFC File. Inside Railing, components contain a single element with solid & mesh. Our tool will import a single element with solid or mesh

·IFC files generated from BIMDeX IFC Exporter for Inventor will not get imported in IFC Importer for AutoCAD

·IFC Importer for AutoCAD is only compatible with IFC 2*3 files which are generated from Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD Architecture, and other software

·IFC files generated from Mechanical software like Inventor and other software will have geometry issues
