SDBOX turns Autodesk® AutoCAD® into a complete topographic survey production environment.
It supports the full workflow from point import to final PDF, including terrain models, coordinate tables, legends, title blocks, map backgrounds and GIS/CAD exchange.
The software is built for land surveyors, civil engineers and CAD technicians who need practical tools for fast, accurate and consistent drawing production inside AutoCAD.

What else should I know about this product?
CAD productivity tools
Although SDBOX is mainly presented as a surveying, terrain modeling and mapping add-on, it also includes a wide range of general CAD productivity tools for everyday drawing production.
These tools are useful in AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based vertical products, including workflows that are not strictly related to surveying. They include scale-aware texts, symbols, blocks, dimensions, hatches, lines, layers, images, PDF output, drawing cleanup, object modification, legends, title blocks and plotting tools.
This makes SDBOX useful not only for topographic survey production, but also for general engineering, architectural, construction and technical drawing workflows where fast and consistent CAD drafting is required.
Installation package
This app uses a custom digitally signed installer and not the standard Marketplace installer.
The installer does not contain the full SDBOX package. During installation, it downloads the required SDBOX components from SDBOX servers, including ZIP packages and required executable components.
Internet access
Internet access is required during installation and updates. It is also required for online documentation, map-related workflows and external web resources requested by the user.
Trial and licensing
The same SDBOX installation is used for both trial and licensed use.
Users install the SDBOX Trial first. After purchase, the product is activated by license; a different installer is not required.
