MonkeyTools is a free suite of Autodesk® AutoCAD® tools designed to make your design workflow more efficient. Featuring a variety of custom utilities, this toolset includes:

• PowerClean: Clean and optimize drawings by removing unreferenced links, purging data, and more. The tool allows you to choose the cleanup tasks and apply them to the current drawing or export them to a clean file.

• Rename Block: Quickly rename blocks in your drawings. Simply click on a block, edit the name in the dialogue box, and instantly update it.

• Rename Layer: Easily rename layers in your AutoCAD drawings. With just a click, the current layer name is displayed, and you can edit it to suit your requirements.

 

MonkeyTools has its own ribbon for quick and easy access to all available tools. Perfect for streamlining repetitive tasks and improving project efficiency.

Compatible with 64bit Windows 10+, AutoCAD 2020+, Autodesk® AutoCAD LT® 2024+.

Some users may experience problems with commands giving errors on the command line, such as 'error: bad argument type: (or stringp symbolp): nil'.

We have found this can occur if you are not signed in to your Autodesk account, so please sign in and run again.

The update 1.0.5 addresses this issue, it can be downloaded directly from the ribbon 'Download Update' button.
