Introduction

ADC (Automatic Drawing Creator) generates 2D production drawings from your Autodesk® Inventor® models. Open a part, an assembly or a sheet-metal part, click ADC, and it places the views, fills the title block and border, adds dimensions and, for assemblies, the parts list and balloons. Whole assemblies are drawn in one run.

Everything follows your settings: templates, sheet sizes and scales, views, dimensions, parts list and title block are set once and reused on every drawing.

 

New in 27.1 (now on the BLUE MECH Axion platform)

• Component filters: decide exactly which components get a drawing, using any property: BOM structure, document type, material, thickness, part number or your own iProperties. Save filters and reuse them.
• Sheet metal: the flat patterns of every sheet-metal part in an assembly on a single sheet, sized by best fit, a fixed scale or a fixed sheet. Material thickness is added as a dimension, and bend dimensions can be ordinate, baseline or chain.
• Parts lists in the order you set: the bill of materials sorts the way you configured it, and stays sorted after an update.
• Clear feedback: ADC tells you when a filter leaves nothing to draw, instead of finishing silently.
