Additional tools for External Reference drawings (Xref’s).

Brief description of the features:

Open Xref with extra options: Similar as Autodesk® AutoCAD® command XOPEN but user has extra options how to open Xref.

Some of the options are:

•   Open as Read Only

•   Apply the same view boundary (zoom) as in master drawing. View can by transformed by Xref geometry

•   Apply layers properties as set in master drawing

Match view boundary (zoom) between drawings or viewports:

User can define source view and then apply this source view definition (boundary and rotation) in different drawings or viewport.  Additionally defined view boundary can be transformed if Xref is not inserted in 0,0,0 or is scaled or is rotated.

Match XREF Layer Properties between drawings or viewports:

User can match Xref Layer properties between different Master drawings or viewports with the same Xref.

Xref can be matched either by Name or By Path.

Group Layer:

Create Layer Group by selecting the entity (either master drawing entity or nested Xref entity).

Layer Group is displayed within AutoCAD LayerManager.

Xref Instances Properties:

Modify some properties of Xref Instances inserted in drawing.

User can change some geometrical properties of each Xref Instance.

Each Xref instances can also be set not visible, disable to be snappable, and disable to be selectable.

Reset Xref layer properties to original:

Reset Xref layer properties as per Xref source drawing.

User can choose which layer to reset and which layer properties (example colour only).

Feature does not reload Xref.

Find where file is referenced into:

Run search in list of master drawings and indicate whether chosen file is referenced into the master drawing.

Note: This is alternative way to AutoCAD Reference Manager utility or Design Center (which are much faster), but you may find it handy in some situations.
