With a unique and powerful 3D routing tool, iCable is an easy and highly efficient add-in program for Autodesk® Inventor®. It allows users to create life-like cables, hoses, tubes, and pipes directly in the Assembly environment. It is a huge time saver for those who need to create complex and large amounts of cables with geometric references in their assembly design.

iCable provides functionalities as follows:

• Create Interpolated Cable: Works as a spline fitter to the polyline path as routed by the user. The interpolation setting controls the 3D spline shape of cable, suitable for various cable application scenarios.
• Create Adaptive Cable: This has similar geometric characteristics to those found in Inventor Tube & Pipe.
• Create Rigid Tube and Pipe: Includes bend radius for rigid tubes and pipes.
• Update Length of All Cables: Automatically updates the length of all cables if they have been modified manually.
• Length Summary Report: Provides a summary report for all cables, detailing cable outer diameter (OD) and color.
• Individual Cable Report: Generates reports for all individual cables, including their length and color.

All generated iCable parts are regular sweep parts, resulting in a much simpler and concise model tree structure.  Any Inventor user can open and edit them with generic Inventor commands without needing to install iCable.
