NTCL Soft

Free Toolset for Autodesk® Civil 3D® Profile: Convert polyline to profile with curve; label cut and fill values directly onto the profile; and profile length-grade statistics.

Free

This free toolset is designed to help civil engineers reduce intensive labour work in their daily workflow with Autodesk® Civil 3D® profiles.

It provides three powerful commands that enhance Civil 3D's native profile functionality:

  1. Direct Cut/Fill Labelling

Instantly label cut and fill values directly onto your profile with precision and clarity. This feature eliminates the need for manual calculations and external annotation tools, providing immediate visual feedback on earthwork quantities. Note: Labels require regeneration when profile geometry is modified.

  1. Advanced Profile Statistics

Generate comprehensive profile analysis with automated length percentage calculations organized by grade ranges. Length is measured horizontally from Point of Vertical Intersection (PVI) to PVI, delivering detailed statistical breakdowns that export seamlessly to Excel worksheets for further analysis and reporting.

  1. Universal Profile Conversion

Convert any polyline (polyline/polyline 2D/polyline 3D) into a functional Civil 3D profile. Profile curves (if any, in the form of multiple straight segments) are automatically detected. Supports both circular and parabola curves.

For user convenience, the app interface supports seven languages.
