Once signed in, select the workflow you need:

• Pre-Contract—generate live cost estimates and BoQs as you design
• Post Contract - track costs through design changes
• Manual Takeoff—measure quantities from any CAD file, even one that isn't previously mapped or layered in any specific way
  
  

Pre- and Post-Contract: Map Existing and Live Mapping

Map Existing—Already have a design? Click Map Existing, select each layer from the drop-down, and map it to an item in the rate library, then press Start Syncing Layer to generate your costs instantly from your existing design.

Live Mapping—starting fresh? Create your layers as you draw, map each one to an item in the rate library, and press Sync. All to watch your costs and quantities update in real time as your design develops.

Each item must be drawn on its own separate layer—lines are measured in metres (m), hatches in square metres (m²) and blocks as item counts (no.)

Click "Current Estimate" in the eeziQS ribbon to review your live cost estimate and BoQ—you can edit item descriptions, rates, and quantities directly from the eeziQS web environment, and these changes will reflect in the "Current Estimate" view.

Click Mapping Review to verify every mapped layer, its rate library item, and live quantities—giving you a full audit of your estimate before you finalize.

Rogue Item - bespoke or non-standard items

If a layer doesn't match any items from your rate library, map it to Rogue Item in the Quick Options. It will appear in the Rogue Items section of your cost estimate in the eeziQS web environment, where you can edit and reassign accordingly.

Measurement rules: Lines - meters (m) | Hatches - square meters (m²) | Blocks - item count (no.).

Manual Takeoff—measuring quantities from any CAD file

Working with a drawing that isn't previously mapped or layered in any particular way? Manual Takeoff allows you to measure quantities in minutes.

1. Select the item from the rate library you wish to map your entities against
2. Press Sync Entities
3. From the pop-up, click "Select Entities in Drawing" and select all required entities within the drawing
4. Press Enter to end the command—the pop-up will reappear
5. Click "Map Selection" to transfer the quantities to your cost estimate
6. Repeat for as many rate library items as you need—your progress saves automatically across multiple sessions
