Text Height Update
A>V>C>Text Height Update
A>V>C>Resize the model space Text and MultiText to the scale of the current viewport.
Free
Use this command when you are placing text in model space and then displaying it on layouts via the viewport. For example, after using the Lay command. If the text is not annotative, then it will look too small or too large on the sheet. In this case, you may need to adjust the height of the text so that on the sheet it looks like it was drawn on paper with a standard height (based on the text style). The TextHeightUpdate command will adjust the height of all text in all viewports in one click.
TextHeightUpdate command features:
-
Automatically search for viewports on a layout.
-
Find all MText and single-line text visible in the viewport.
-
Calculate the scaling factor and find the correct text height
-
Lock the viewport so that later you do not accidentally knock off the scale.
-
The command has no settings.
- Annotative multitext is not processed.
- Regardless of the AutoCAD localization language, you can switch the plugin to English, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese (PRC), Spanish, French, or Turkish localization.
