InfraSync can create pipe networks in Autodesk® Civil 3D® by connecting files (currently supporting shapefiles) created by various analysis software or GIS databases. The creation wizard allows the user to map Civil 3D parameters along with the connected files fields/attributes, which will be stored for updating the network in the future.

The created pipe network can be updated using updated files or newly created files. All options used in the creation will be automatically used for updating and can be modified if needed. After a successful update, an update report will be displayed showing all the updates that occurred on all elements (pipes and structures), which allows the user to have a better insight into the changes.
