Convert 2D AutoCAD DWG Layers into 3D Autodesk® Revit® Elements. Fast, accurate, and automated.

Free

Stop tracing lines manually! BIMify is the ultimate productivity tool for Architects, Engineers, and BIM Managers who need to convert 2D AutoCAD (DWG) data into native 3D Autodesk® Revit® elements.

BIMify automates the tedious process of modeling from CAD links. Instead of manually drawing walls or placing columns one by one over a background link, BIMify reads the layer data from your linked DWG file and automatically generates the corresponding Revit geometry in seconds.

Whether you are migrating legacy CAD projects to BIM or collaborating with consultants who still work in 2D, BIMify bridges the gap, saving you hours of repetitive modeling work on every project.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

  • Supports Single-Line Drawings: To place walls or beams on individual lines, simply enter 0 in the Width and Tolerance boxes within the Family Selection window.
  • One-Click CAD Management: Open or reload linked CAD files directly from the BIMify interface in one click, eliminating the need to navigate through Revit's Manage Links dialog.
  • Massive Vector based self learn AI Detection comming soon, that too offline. Stay Tuned!
  • Curved Wall Intersections: While the plugin creates curved walls (arcs) effectively, complex intersections between arcs and straight walls may occasionally result in unconnected corners or minor gaps. These specific conditions may require manual "Wall Join" adjustments in Revit.
  • CAD Precision Dependency: The quality of the generated model relies on the accuracy of the source CAD file. "Exploded" lines, microscopic gaps, or overlapping geometry in the DWG link may result in skipped elements or duplicate walls.
  • Unsupported Geometry: Splines in the source CAD file are currently not supported and will be skipped during processing.
