DIBS42 Hive is a comprehensive Revit toolset built by MEP engineers for MEP engineers. It bundles more than twenty production-proven tools that automate the repetitive parts of MEP modeling, electrical documentation, data management and Dutch BIM basis IDS compliance, so you can spend your time engineering instead of clicking.

42-GENERAL

Generate Openings: automatically places correctly sized openings (sleeves) in walls, floors and ceilings where pipes, ducts, cable trays and conduits penetrate them, including hosts in linked models. Nearby penetrations are clustered into a single rectangular opening, and sizing follows configurable rules per system type.

42-ELECTRA

E-INS. Schema: generates a complete electrical distribution schematic (groepenschema) as a Revit drafting view, driven by the actual panels and circuits in your model. Regenerate and Update functions keep the schematic in sync with the model, with extensive layout options and dedicated support for Belgian branch symbols.

Sequence Numbering: numbers symbols in the exact order you pick them, one by one or along a sketched line, writing pattern-based codes (rack-panel-circuit) into any parameter with a live preview.

Auto Tag: batch-tags family instances in the active view. Click around a preview image of the family to position one or more tags, with leader, orientation and rotation options.

Add To Circuit: adds the selected electrical elements to an existing power circuit, or creates a new circuit with a specific circuit number, in a couple of clicks.

42-MECHANICAL

Curve Jumper: inserts a rise-and-fall jump into a pipe, duct, cable tray or conduit run to cross obstacles, with feasibility feedback before you apply.

Counter Flange: automatically places counter flanges on both sides of selected valves and shortens the connected pipes to fit.

Align Connectors: finds MEP connectors that touch but are not connected (within 1 mm) and reconnects them across the model, active view or selection.

Rotate MEP Element: rotates a connected set of MEP elements around any connector axis by an exact angle.

Slope Checker: finds ducts, cable trays, conduits and pipes with unwanted slope, zooms to each offender and flattens the ones you select.

Offset Matcher: aligns the top, bottom or center elevation of chosen MEP runs to a reference element.

42-DATA

42 Filter: a powerful selection tool. Query elements by parameter values, AND/OR rule sets or family and type, per model, view or selection, and push the result straight into your Revit selection. Also available on the Modify tab.

Legend To Sheet: places any number of legends on any number of sheets in one action, automatically aligned to each sheet's title block.

Schedule Export/Import: exports schedules to formatted Excel workbooks and imports edited values back onto the model. Color-coded cells show exactly what is editable, linked models are supported, and a detailed report summarizes every import.

42-BIM BASE IDS GATEWAY Purpose-built tools for the Dutch BIM basis IDS: 3.3 Level Arrangement (re-host elements to the correct level without moving geometry), 3.5 Structure and naming (IfcExportAs and predefined type), 3.6 Classification System (classification codes, including bulk assignment per MEP system type), 3.8 Duplicates (find, isolate and export duplicate elements), 4.1 Spaces (create spaces from rooms, including rooms in linked models), 4.3 Load Bearing, 4.4 Internal/External, 4.5 Fire Safety and 4.7 NAA.K.T. Material. Each run produces a report of changed, read-only and missing parameters.

Also included: automatic workset assignment by MEP system type (Worksets Settings) and configurable panel visibility.
