Two roads that cross have to meet at the same level.
On a scheme with a dozen alignments there are dozens of crossings. Checking each one means picking two profiles, reading two elevations at the same station, and subtracting. It is quick per crossing and slow per scheme, so it gets sampled rather than done, and a mismatch that survives design review is found on site at a cost nobody budgeted for.
TA Intersections Checker finds every crossing between your centreline alignments, reads the elevation of each design profile at that point, and tells you which agree and which do not.
The results table
Every crossing is listed with the two alignments involved, the station on each, both profile elevations and the difference between them. Valid and invalid crossings are marked, so a scheme is checked at a glance instead of one intersection at a time. You set the tolerance, so a crossing is only flagged when the difference actually matters.
The table is modeless: it stays open while you work in the drawing, so you can correct a profile and re-check without closing anything. Act on a single row, or on the whole set at once. Tick invalid only to work through the failures without the rest in the way.
Export the schedule
Write the results to a branded Excel workbook or a plain CSV. The export carries exactly what is on screen, so a filtered view exports the filtered set, and the report's subtitle says so rather than letting a partial schedule read as the whole drawing.
That is what turns this from a check you did into a check you can evidence. The workbook goes in the design file, attaches to a review comment, or goes to the client as the record that every crossing was tested.
Then act on what it found
- Create points. COGO points at the valid intersections, for setting out or reference.
- Label points. Station and offset labels at the intersections, so the drawing carries the information rather than the table alone.
- Mark invalid. Marker circles at the crossings that failed, so they are visible in the drawing and can be worked through.
Who it is for. Highway and subdivision designers checking a junction-heavy layout before it goes to review, and the reviewers and BIM managers who have to sign it off. It is a design validation tool: the output is evidence that the crossings were checked, not just a belief that they were.

Requirements: Civil 3D 2025, 2026 or 2027, 64-bit Windows. The alignments being checked need design profiles, since the comparison is between two design elevations at the crossing point.
Setting the tolerance. The elevation precision you set decides what counts as a mismatch, so it should reflect what your scheme can actually absorb rather than being left at a default.
