This tool overrides the Autodesk® Maya® viewer.

It overrides the following items based on the resolution gate.

• HUD (Displays text information in front of the screen)
• Letterbox
• Grid (Grid to guide you as you work on your layout)
• Foreground image
• Background image

When outputting a playblast, various information can be added.

In the case of live-action compositing, sandwiching the objects in 3D space between Foreground and Background plates will make it easier to add animation movement to the characters.

Reference images can be placed in the background during the modeling process. Multiple images can be easily laid out, which is easier than using ImagePlane.
