You can use different colors for different states, for instance if items need to be removed you can select a different color as when the item needs to be replaced or if it's new. It only works if the items are drawn bylayer, this program puts the item on a new layer with corresponding color. for instance you've created a layer called 'lightbulbs' and you want to change it to New color revision makes a new layer called 'lightbulbs_New' and gives the new layer the color set in the options page it also puts the item you've selected to that layer.
