At Grit, we understand that no single Construction team member or planning style is adequate to guarantee project success. The key is connecting high-level waterfall schedules to Lean and Agile workflows and work packages. Grit connects this entire process from Master Schedules to Daily Huddles in cloud-based, artificially intelligent 4D.
Our Autodesk® BIM360® integration allows models stored in BIM360 to be directly imported into Grit. This allows for quick access to already processed models and ensures new versions are easily accessible. Simply connect your account to BIM 360 and all of your projects will be able to import models seamlessly.
Note: App is compatible with BIM 360 Docs.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What else should I know about this product?
MASTER SCHEDULE
T-MINUS 6 WEEKS – 2 YEARS
The master scheduler or project manager will create or import a Gantt style CPM schedule. The activities of the schedule are then attached to the representative model elements as well as assigned to the subcontractor responsible.
LAST PLANNER™
T-MINUS: 3 – 6 WEEKS
As an activity comes into the 6-week window, it is time to introduce the Last Planner, the foreman subject matter expert to break the activities into tasks. This is done by either selecting a subset of objects, creating multiple steps to the procedure, or both. These tasks should represent work packages that are completed without interruption and share the same Tools, Information, Materials, Manpower and Equipment (TIME).
SCENARIOS
T-MINUS: 3 – 6 WEEKS
As the master schedule is broken down by Last Planners, one activity could now be represented by 20 tasks. Grit combines CPM principles with early-age artificial intelligence to re-constrain the schedule by restricting crew supply and simulating alternative work areas to deliver the optimal construction sequence.
LOOKAHEADS (1, 3, 6-WEEK)
T-MINUS: 1 WEEK – 6 WEEKS
After a project team determines a construction sequence to move forward with, tasks/activities are represented again on a bar chart. Different from Gantt, the rows now represent individual trades rather than individual activities. 4D playback is available on this page.
SPRINTS (WEEKLY WORK PLAN)
T-MINUS: 1 DAY – 1 WEEK
Grit will create a backlog of work using the same sequence as the lookaheads. The project team will verify the sequence by committing to tasks or not. Moving tasks to in progress and completed calculate KPIs as well as initiate A.I.-based contingency simulations.
