Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™ does not natively support Unistrut modeling through its default structural functionality.

 

In this Content Pack, Unistrut members are implemented using the Pipe Support system, allowing full 3D placement, spec integration, and tool palette usage — enabling practical modeling of Unistrut assemblies within Plant 3D workflows.

Overview:

The PES_CPak UniStruct Steel Content Pack provides a preview set of Unistrut-style modular support components designed for AutoCAD Plant 3D users. This trial release focuses on delivering a core set of parts, including Unistrut channels like P1000, allowing users to visualize, route, and mount steel framing in their plant layouts.

This is a limited functional release, aimed at collecting real-world user feedback before full-feature deployment.

• ✅ Smart component behavior with adjustable length (L) and hole options

• ✅ Fully compatible with Plant 3D spec-driven workflows

 

Purpose of Trial Version:

This pack is the initial release with limited features, more will be added based on your feedback.

The goal is to:

• Understand your structural framing needs

• Expand to include: full bolt sets, multiple profiles, hanger assemblies, seismic supports
