With Robot-AdvanceSteel Link, you can export an Autodesk® Robot Structural Analysis™ model using the smlx format. You can then import the smlx file in Autodesk® Advance Steel™ in order to detail steel connections and automatically generate fabrication documents. From Robot, you can export values of internal forces with the model to the smlx file. After importing the file to Advance Steel, you can use these values to perform code checking of connections.

Conversely, you can export a model from Advance Steel in order to perform structural analysis and code checking in Robot.

You can also track changes in the same model in both applications using the synchronization feature.

This product requires Robot Structural Analysis 2027 software to be installed on your system.
