The Mostra is an Autodesk® Revit® add-in that groups model elements by any shared parameter and applies color-coded visualization across the entire model in seconds. Select a category, choose a parameter such as Level, Phase, Fire Rating, or Assembly Code, pick a color palette, and let Mostra generate isolated 3D views, persistent parametric filters, or direct graphics overrides — all without writing a single filter rule by hand.

Two ribbon buttons appear in the AvantLeap Tools tab when Revit loads. The MOSTRA button opens a single-category workflow: choose one element category, one parameter, a color palette, and an operation, then click Execute. The MOSTRA PRO button adds multi-category support and a named preset system so that the same configuration can be loaded and reapplied in any session with one click. Both modes display a results window — group names, element counts, timing, and any warnings — as soon as the operation completes.

BIM coordinators use Mostra to prepare views for design review meetings, verify parameter coverage across disciplines, and communicate complex data distributions without manual view creation. Project managers use it to split phased or level-based deliverables in seconds. Quality control teams apply the Traffic Light palette to compliance parameters — Fire Rating, Compartmentation Zone, Structural Grade — to identify missing or incorrect assignments at a glance. The tool works on any parameter visible in the active view, including shared parameters, type parameters, and standard Revit instance parameters.

Note: Mostra operates on elements visible in the active view. Supported view types are floor plans, sections, elevations, and 3D views. Schedule, legend, and sheet views are not supported as active views. The installer includes builds for all five Revit versions listed above. MOSTRA PRO presets are stored locally on the user's machine in the AppData folder and are not embedded in the Revit model.
