HMK Tools for Autodesk® Navisworks® puts an AI assistant to work on the coordination model you already have open - not on an export, not on a copy.

Clash detection, conversationally. Create a clash test, point it at two sets, run it, and work through the results by talking about them: filter by status or distance, assign them, comment on them, render a picture of one to see whether it is real, and export an HTML, CSV or JSON report. It also groups results automatically - by element family, by level, by layer or by any property in the model - which is the part of coordination that normally costs an afternoon of clicking.

Two ways to use it. Pilot Chat is a dockable panel inside Navisworks: ask a question or describe a change in plain language and the assistant carries it out in the model. Or connect an external assistant - Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Antigravity - through a secure local Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, and drive the session from there. Connecting takes one click; there is no configuration file to hand-edit and nothing else to install.

The model tree and item properties, search and selection sets with their folders, saved viewpoints and comments, visibility and appearance overrides, camera and section planes, and rendered images. TimeLiner 4D: build tasks, link them to geometry, auto-attach hundreds of them by rule, roll up dates, render a dated progress image and export CSV. Quantification: read the catalog and the takeoff and export it. Federation: append, merge, refresh and remove files, publish an NWD or save an NWF.

Built for the way you actually work. Clash Detective tools appear only on Navisworks Manage and are hidden on Simulate rather than failing when called. Destructive actions require an explicit confirmation, so a mis-read instruction cannot clear a coordination test. The add-in never saves your file - anything written to disk happens only through an export you asked for by name. You choose which actions the assistant is allowed to use, and the code-execution tool can be switched off entirely. The server binds to localhost only, so nothing outside your machine can reach it.

Everything runs locally. Your models are never uploaded to HMK Tools. If you use the in-app chat you bring your own AI provider key, and that conversation goes directly from your machine to the provider you chose - we never see it, proxy it or store it.
