A simple and effective tool that will enhance your productivity, particularly when working on office templates and creating families.
This App enables you to rename bound shared parameters while retaining the parameter formula and GUID. Where possible it will also retain the value.
Individual bound shared parameter names can be completely changed or multiple parameters can have a Suffix and/ or Prefix added to the name. As well as retaining the parameter formula, the parameters also retain their GUID.
Within families, the family parameter formula is also amended to reflect any dependent changes made to the Shared Parameter name.
Works with Families, Templates and can also be used with Projects (see Additional Information).

What else should I know about this product?
Renaming project Shared Parameters bound to multiple categories and associated data is a resources heavy process. It is recommended that your system should have a minimum of 16GB Ram and upon completion of the renaming that the file is saved and Autodesk® Revit® closed and reopened.
In the unlikely event that a project shared parameter has the same GUID as a Family Shared parameter the associated data of the Family Shared Parameter will be lost.
