Autodesk® Revit® filters are powerful tools to control and change visibility settings of views and appearance of elements in views, based on filterable properties. However, Revit does not provide a built-in functionality to have the functionality to select elements directly using filters.

SelectByFilter fills this gap by allowing the user to quickly select elements based on existing filters. The user can pick one or multiple filters from a list and SelectByFilter will highlight all elements that meet the filter(s) conditions. The user can choose to select elements from the current view or to select elements in entire project.
