If you need to share your Autodesk® Inventor® files with 3rd parties, you usually don't want to share your company's know-how, but just the geometry.

How to remove the intelligence stored in several iLogic rules and internal forms from a bunch of Inventor files?

The "DeleteRules" does exactly this in a very easy and comfortable way to use.

DeleteRules is a handy standalone tool, that deletes all available iLogic rules inside of any Inventor files.

How to use:

1. export your Inventor models, which you want to share, in a separate directory --> e.g. by using Pack&Go of Inventor.

2. start the "DeleteRules" app and select this folder.

3. start the cleaning process by pushing the "Delete" button. The app scans the whole content of the selected directory incl. all sub-folders and removes all available iLogic rules from any Inventor files. During the whole cleaning process no Inventor Window will be opened, everything is done just in the background.

(This tool supports Inventor versions 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.)
