Saragur - Manage Schedules

SFMM

Manage Schedules tab of Saragur add-in provides Autodesk® Revit® users with the ability to create, sort and export schedules of multiple categories and parameters at once, through user preferences.

Free

Saragur Schedule Manager — Create, Sort, and Export Autodesk® Revit® Schedules in Seconds.

Tired of spending valuable project time manually creating, organizing, and exporting schedules in Revit? Saragur Manage Schedules streamlines your entire schedule workflow into three powerful, easy-to-use commands that are accessible from a single ribbon.

Whether you are working on small residential projects or large-scale international projects, this add-in eliminates repetitive schedule tasks so you can focus on design and delivery.

Key Features and Commands:

Create Schedules-

Batch-create schedules across multiple Revit model categories in a single operation. Select the categories you need (Walls, Doors, Windows, Floors, and more), choose the parameters to include as columns, and assign a custom naming key. The add-in automatically generates named schedules (e.g., "Walls_BOQ", "Doors_BOQ") with your selected fields — ready for quantity takeoff or documentation. Duplicate schedule names are detected and skipped to keep your project clean.

Sort Schedules-

Reorder schedule sort/group fields across multiple schedules at once. Enter a name key to filter your target schedules, then use the interactive Sort Configuration dialog to select parameters, arrange their priority with Move Up/Down controls, and toggle between Ascending and Descending sort order. Apply the configuration and all matching schedules are updated in one click — no more editing each schedule individually.

Export Schedules-

Export filtered schedules to CSV files for use in Excel, cost estimation tools, or external reporting systems. Simply select an output folder, enter a name key to filter, and all matching schedules are exported as comma-delimited CSV files. File names are automatically sanitized for compatibility.

Benefits:

- Batch Operations: Create or sort dozens of schedules simultaneously instead of one at a time.

- Name Key System: A consistent naming convention (e.g., "_BOQ", "_QTO") lets you organize, filter, and manage schedule groups across your entire project.

- Interactive Dialogs: User-friendly selection forms with checkboxes, search, and drag-and-drop ordering make configuration fast and intuitive.

- Error Handling: Comprehensive logging and clear summary dialogs report exactly what was created, skipped, or failed — no silent errors.

- Multi-Version Support: Compatible with Revit 2025 and Revit 2026.

How it works:

1. Open your Revit project.

2. Navigate to the "Saragur" tab in the Ribbon.

3. Under the "Manage Schedules" panel, click one of three buttons:

- Create Schedules — to generate new schedules

- Sort Schedules — to reorder schedule fields

- Export Schedules — to export schedules as CSV

4. Follow the dialog prompts to configure your operation.

5. Review the summary dialog for results.

Ideal For:

- BIM Managers standardizing schedule formats across projects

- Quantity Surveyors generating BOQ schedules rapidly

- Project teams needing consistent CSV exports for cost tracking

- Anyone who creates and manages multiple Revit schedules regularly

- Log Location:%AppData%\SaragurScheduleFunctionality\Logs\

- When creating schedules, if a schedule with the same Category + Name Key

combination already exists in the project, it is skipped (not overwritten).

This is intentional behavior to protect existing schedules. Rename or

delete the existing schedule before running Create Schedules again if you

need to regenerate it.

- The Sort Schedules command replaces all existing sort/group fields on each

targeted schedule. Any sort configuration previously applied manually will

be overwritten. This is by design; configure sort order carefully before

applying.

- CSV export does not include embedded images or formula-based fields. Only

text and numeric parameter values visible in the schedule view are exported.

- Parameters that do not exist in a specific schedule category are silently

skipped during Sort Schedules. Check the summary dialog after each

operation to confirm expected results.
