This tool is purposefully crafted to create openings in structure and architectural models for MEP elements in linked Autodesk® Revit® Models with a single click.

  • The tool considers insulation and calculates it automatically when creating openings and adds to clearance and element size.

- Do Not support curtain walls.
- If an error message appears "Can't keep elements joined", you must click unjoined elements then export report and back to solve this unjoin elements.
- Do Not support oval ducts.
- The plugin's processing time depends on the project's size. If it takes too long, you can divide the model into parts using the section box and run the plugin to each part individually.


If the following warnings appear, click on delete button, and the model will not be changed.

  • Opening not cutting anything.
  • There are identical instances in the same place. This will result in double counting in schedules.
  • Room volumes overlap. Adjust the Upper Limit and Limit Offset properties of the Rooms.
  • Can't make cut-out.
