ExportFlow is a multi-format export manager for Revit that brings sheet and view selection, export configuration, file naming, and output management into one streamlined workflow.

The Range tab lets users select sheets or views, filter them using Revit View/Sheet Sets, and search across displayed information such as sheet number, sheet name, revision, size, view name, view type, scale, and orientation. Column-specific searches such as “Revision: C2” or “Sheet number: A-10” make it easier to locate the exact documents required for an issue.

The Export Config tab provides format-specific controls for PDF, IFC, DWG, DGN, DWF/DWFx, NWC, and raster image exports. Multiple formats can be selected and processed as part of the same export operation.

Custom export-name templates help maintain consistent deliverable naming. Sheet and view names can be configured independently using values such as sheet number, sheet name, view name, revision, project information, format, and custom text.

Reusable profiles store export preferences for different clients, project stages, or deliverable standards. Profiles can be imported and exported for use by other team members.

The Export tab provides a final overview of the planned files and allows users to choose a general export path or a project-specific export path. General paths are saved with the selected profile, while project paths are stored inside the Revit project.

Additional features include:

  • Latest sheet revision display

  • Separate or combined PDF and DWF/DWFx output

  • Automatic file-name conflict handling

  • Optional overwriting of existing files

  • Output grouped by file format

  • Export progress and cancellation

  • Automatic opening of the completed export folder

  • Reuse of an existing Windows Explorer window where possible

ExportFlow runs locally inside Revit and does not require a cloud service for exporting.
