Federate – Autodesk® Navisworks® Add-in for Automated NWD Generation

Federate is a Navisworks add-in that automates the creation of federated NWD models based on any folder structure.

With one click, the tool scans your selected directory, processes all subfolders, and generates:

• An NWD file for each folder (containing all NWC files inside it)
• A final federated NWD at the root level that merges all subfolder NWDs

This bottom-up automation eliminates repetitive manual federation work and helps teams maintain a clean, structured coordination workflow.
