Code Generator adds machine-readable codes to your Autodesk® Fusion® designs as real geometry — sketches or solid bodies you can engrave, emboss, cut, or 3D print. Pick a code type, enter your data, set the size, and place it on any planar face or construction plane, with a live preview that updates as you work.
Supported codes
- AprilTag — tag16h5, tag25h9, tag36h10, tag36h11 (fiducial / robotics pose markers)
- ArUco — all standard OpenCV dictionaries, 4×4_50 through 7×7_1000
- QR Code (Model 2) — UTF-8 text, error-correction L/M/Q/H, automatic or fixed version 1–40
- Micro QR — versions M1–M4
- Code 128 and GS1-128 — automatic code-set switching and GS1 element-string validation
- PDF417 — configurable data columns and error-correction level

What else should I know about this product?
Standards: QR Code Model 2 (ISO/IEC 18004), Micro QR, Code 128 / GS1-128, PDF417, AprilTag (AprilRobotics), and ArUco (OpenCV dictionaries). GS1-128 supports a common subset of Application Identifiers with element-string validation. Codes are generated as native sketch profiles and solid bodies, so they participate in normal modeling, engraving, and CAM workflows. Generation is fully offline; an internet connection is only needed periodically to verify your license. Platforms: macOS and Windows (64-bit). No personal data or design content is collected.
Are there any known issues with this product?
Very large dynamic codes (long QR or PDF417 payloads) take longer to generate as solid bodies because every module is created as geometry; generation stays responsive for typical payloads. No other known issues at initial release.
