UnoTool iMAP is a productivity add-in developed for Autodesk® Inventor® Professional that helps engineers and designers visualize and analyze complex assembly structures through an interactive graphical representation.

In large engineering projects, assemblies often contain numerous parts, subassemblies, and components, making it difficult to understand the complete product structure and the relationships between different components. Manually tracing these relationships can be time-consuming and may create challenges during design reviews, assembly analysis, and design modifications.

UnoTool I-MAP automates this process by reading the active Inventor assembly (.iam) file and generating an interactive graphical map of its assemblies, subassemblies, and components. This enables users to easily understand parent-child relationships, navigate complex product structures, and analyze component connectivity.

The tool provides different visualization options, including Assembly Level and All Levels views. Users can interactively expand or collapse nodes to explore different levels of the assembly hierarchy. The tool also allows users to identify purchased (Content Center) components and display assembly constraints, such as Mate and Flush, between connected components.

Additionally, UnoTool I-MAP provides useful navigation and analysis features such as Reload Assembly, Zoom, Pan, and Fit to View. Assembly statistics and loaded component information are also displayed, helping users quickly understand and analyze the active assembly structure.
