The “Align Points” application is interoperable with the “Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis  Professional” software, as it intends to complement it with a tool for adjusting calculation models and correct incoerent meshes. By selecting bar and shell elements we can align the points of these elements by a plane defined in the application. We define the “range” or the distance of the points we want to align to this plane.

The application allows aligning the coordinates of the nodes and coordinates of the contours at a distance to a defined plane:

• By a YZ plane with a specified X coordinate.

• By an XZ plane with a specified X coordinate.

• by an XY plane with a specified Z coordinate.

• By a vertical plane defined by a diagonal line in the XY plane.
