ELLAH-M — Structural Numbering Automation for Revit

ELLAH-M is a productivity add-in for structural engineers working with Revit.

The app helps automate repetitive structural coordination tasks, including column numbering, foundation and pile numbering, and Excel schedule export/import — saving time and reducing manual work on every project.

 

MAIN FEATURES

• Column Numbering:

Automatically number structural columns across multiple levels and write values directly to the native Revit Mark parameter.

• Foundation & Pile Numbering:

Automatically number pile caps and individual piles according to the structural column they support.

• Excel Export & Import:

Export structured Revit schedules to Excel and import updated values back into the model.

COLUMN NUMBERING

ELLAH-M scans the structural model, sorts columns according to project logic, and applies sequential numbering to structural columns.

Key points:

• Number structural columns across multiple levels.

• Continue from existing manual numbering without overwriting intentional marks.

• Preview changes before applying them to the model.

• Full Revit undo support using Ctrl+Z.

• Targets structural columns only.

FOUNDATION & PILE NUMBERING

ELLAH-M numbers pile caps and piles based on the column they support.

For example, a pile cap connected to column 140 can receive the mark 140, while the piles below it are numbered 140A, 140B, 140C, and so on.

 

Key points:

• Supports single piles, grouped piles, and multi-column pile caps.

• Works with standard Autodesk families and custom office families.

• Supports Hebrew and English family names.

• Writes values directly to the Revit Mark parameter.

EXCEL EXPORT & IMPORT

ELLAH-M allows users to export a clean Excel schedule from Revit and import values back into the model.

Users can choose an element type, select a level, export a structured .xlsx file, edit the data externally, and import it back into Revit.

• Export columns, walls, beams, doors, or windows.

• Include Level, Mark, Type, and selected custom parameters.

• Import updated values back to the correct Revit elements.

• Useful for coordination with external structural software and office schedules.
