CombineDimensions is an easy way to create dimension strings from multiple individual dimensions.

Instead of selecting all the individual elements/references manually, the user can drag a box and select an area and this addin finds all dimensions or dimension strings in that area, analyzes them, groups them based on their direction, and combines the parallel ones into a single dimension string.

It also deletes the ones that are already combined. CombineDimensions removes duplicate references (to avoid having dimension segments of length 0) and automatically places the new dimension string at an average location. Dimensioning the elements/references in a dimension line makes it easier for the user to move it or change the dimension type (i.e. font, gap, etc.).
