BIM Specialist is a productivity toolkit for Revit 2025, 2026, and 2027. It brings room-management and schedule workflows together in one dedicated Revit ribbon tab, helping architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and model authors complete repetitive tasks with fewer manual steps.

The toolkit includes four focused tools. 3D Rooms creates and updates three-dimensional room volumes from native Revit room data, enabling users to review spatial information visually and apply consistent styles. Room Info displays the selected room's number, name, department, area, and level in a clear dialog for quick checking. Schedule Export sends selected Revit schedules directly to Excel XLSX files, either as separate workbooks or as multiple worksheets in one workbook. It supports titles, automatic column sizing, borders, frozen headers, filters, blank-row removal, and optional automatic opening of Excel. Export preferences are remembered between Revit sessions. Import History provides an audit-oriented view of Excel import activity and the Revit changes applied through that workflow.

Room Info and Schedule Export remain available free of charge. A 30-day Autodesk Marketplace trial provides access to all current tools. After the trial, Professional access is available for USD 4.99 per month for one user and unlocks the paid tools, including 3D Rooms and Import History.

Licensing is linked to the Autodesk account signed into Revit. Users do not need to create a separate BIM Specialist account. The add-in communicates with the BIM Specialist licensing service to verify entitlement and supports temporary offline use through its license cache.

BIM Specialist is designed for common architectural and BIM coordination workflows. It preserves the user's Revit environment, presents clear validation and error messages, and stores user preferences locally so frequently repeated exports can be completed consistently. The installer contains the required components for the supported Revit releases and creates the BIM Specialist ribbon automatically after installation.
