SECTIONSYNC LITE – ROADWAY PLAN SHEET AUTOMATION

SectionSync LITE is a lightweight AutoLISP-powered tool for Autodesk® AutoCAD® that automates the creation and synchronization of roadway plan sheets using VP blocks placed along a centerline.

Instead of manually zooming, panning, rotating, and scaling viewports, SectionSync LITE generates and maintains PLAN-## layouts automatically:

PLAN-01, PLAN-02, PLAN-03, ...

The tool is designed for civil engineers and CAD users working on roadway, utility, and site plans who need fast, repeatable sheet production without complex setup.

KEY FEATURES

• Automatic Sheet Creation

Generates sequential PLAN-## layouts from a master layout named PLAN.

• Viewport Alignment and Rotation

Each layout contains two paper-space viewports (TOP and BOTTOM). SectionSync LITE automatically centers, rotates, and scales each viewport to match the alignment direction.

• VP Block–Driven Workflow

Uses model-space VP blocks to control sheet locations along a selected centerline.

• Automatic Sheet Numbering

Continues numbering when re-run and updates existing sheets.

• Odd Sheet Handling

If only one VP block remains, the final sheet uses the TOP viewport only.

• Optional Scale Control (v1.1)

Viewport scale can be controlled using a VP block attribute:

SCALE = 20 -> 1:20

SCALE = 30 -> 1:30

If the SCALE attribute is not present or invalid, the default preset scale is used.

• LWPOLYLINE centerline in Model Space

• Layout named PLAN with two paper-space viewports

• VP blocks placed along the alignment

SectionSync LITE includes an evaluation mode:

• 5 runs OR 7 calendar days (whichever occurs first)

After the trial expires, activation is required.

Activation is performed directly in AutoCAD using your purchase email. No license keys are required.
