Introducing the Batch Publisher add-in for Autodesk® Inventor®. Export entire assemblies, folders of drawings, or hand-picked sets of documents to PDF, STEP, DWG, and DXF in a single operation. Add a source, select the documents in the built-in document browser, and press Start Export. Batch Publisher handles the rest: file naming, folder organization, and existing-file handling are all managed by your configurable export profile.

Multiple Export Formats

Publish drawings to PDF and DWG, parts and assemblies to STEP, and sheet metal parts to flat-pattern DXF, all in one batch. PDF options (combine sheets, all colors as black, vector resolution) are built in, and DXF/DWG exports can use your own Inventor export configuration (.ini) files.

Powerful Document Browser

Add a document (the full reference tree is scanned automatically), a folder of drawings, or the active document. View the contents as a structured tree, a flat list, or BOM-style views; filter by type or any column; and select exactly what to export. Columns are fully configurable, including thumbnails, flat-pattern previews, bounding-box dimensions, and any custom iProperty.

Automatic Drawing Detection

Batch Publisher finds the drawings associated with your models, including configurable search paths, and can automatically select the best match. Exporting all drawings of an assembly to PDF becomes a two-click operation.

Flexible Output Rules

Export next to the source files, to a relative subfolder, or to a custom folder. Optionally organize the output into subfolders by document type, export format, material, or thickness, with per-format overrides. Choose whether existing files are overwritten, automatically incremented, or skipped.

Template-Based File Naming

Name exported files using placeholders such as {PartNumber}, {Revision}, {Description}, {Material}, {Thickness}, {Length}, {Date}, and {Counter}, or any custom iProperty via {iProp:Name}. Units and decimal formatting for numeric placeholders are fully configurable.

Profiles for Streamlined Workflows

Save complete export configurations as profiles, switch between them instantly, and share them with your team using JSON export and import.
