Route pipes and turn them into cable trays and change the length of the trays in the model.

Please note that these functions will only work if you are using the Python Cable Tray application for drawing the cable trays.

Smart Tray will provide additional flexibility and efficiency to the users of my Python Cable Tray app.

1. You can change the length of any cable tray in the 3D space if it was created with my Python Cable Tray app without going into the properties window.
2. Straight cable trays can be flipped by 180 degrees. This is useful if you want to change the length of trays based from the opposite port.
3. Horizontal bends can be flipped. This is great when using the automatic routing and you want to turn that to trays.
4. Pipes can be turned into cable trays! You do not need to change the length via the properties. Just drag the pipes to your needs as normal and when they are fine, you can turn them into cable trays.
5. Opposite is also possible. Trays can be turned into pipes, then the pipes can be dragged as needed and then turned back to cable trays.
6. The cable tray parameters (like their lengths) can be exported to CSV files.
7. The cable tray parameters can be added to the trays’ description as well (long description and short as well), this way they can be shown in the Report Creator or on the isometric/ortho drawings’ Bill Of Materials.
