Validation Tool
Autodesk, Inc.Validation Tool
Autodesk, Inc.Automate the validation of your Autodesk® Revit® models on Autodesk® Docs / Autodesk® BIM 360® Docs by running a series of fidelity and data checks and generating reports on the results.
Free
The Autodesk® Validation Tool (AVT) is an automatic model checker for your Autodesk® Revit® models on Autodesk® Docs and Autodesk® BIM 360® Docs. It utilizes the same customizable checkset files that the Autodesk® Model Checker for Revit uses and allows you to generate reports on the fidelity of your models. These reports can be downloaded as Excel XLSX files and automatically read by a data analytics tool to provide a visual Dashboard, such as Microsoft® Power BI.
This app automatically configures your Autodesk® Docs or BIM 360 Docs account to be able to use the Validation Tool (replacing the manual process found at https://help.autodesk.com/view/VTDOCS/ENU/?guid=ValidationTool_config_html).
On May 7th, 2024, Autodesk launched the AVT in Flex, a pay-per-result option for product use. With the AVT, you can use virtually infinite computing power in the cloud to quickly analyze your Revit models for best practices, project standards or digital delivery requirements. To learn more about AVT token consumption in Flex, visit the AVT product help page.
