Have you ever needed your colleague to export a connection from Autodesk® Revit® but an IDEA StatiCa license was not installed on his machine? Now he can get a FREE plugin to export from Revit to IDEA StatiCa Connection.

Moreover, all detailers without an IDEA StatiCa license can export a connection to the cloud Viewer and from there, export and send the .ideacon file to the structural engineer.

After the installation, you will find a new button in the Revit ribbon (IDEA StatiCa – Export to Viewer). By selecting the desired standard, you can export any connection to the IDEA StatiCa Viewer on a cloud. Cloud Viewer is a free service enabling you to display any connection from IDEA StatiCa and export it to the 3D DXF model or generate a .ideacon file. (Please note that the IDEA StatiCa Viewer plugin for Revit plugin differs from the Code-check manager plugin which enables us to work with multiple connections at a time, synchronize models, etc., and requires a valid license.)

The plugin is for FREE. That means it does not require a license of IDEA StatiCa. It is activated by downloading the install file from the IDEA StatiCa website or the Autodesk App Store.
