Running inside Fusion, Node Atlas visualizes your entire design as an interactive node graph — the whole timeline at once, not just the current selection. Understand what drives your model, what depends on what, and how decisions propagate before you make them.

Click any node to inspect and edit its feature parameters directly from the graph. Trace dependency chains upstream and downstream. Gather related nodes into centers and constellations — coherent regions that reveal how a subsystem is organized: a fretboard, a neck, a body, a fixture, an assembly. Designs stop being sequences of operations and become recognizable structures.

The atlas includes a Script Node Library for packaging and executing design scripts, saved views, focus and trace modes, a model health panel, a minimap, and a keyboard-driven command palette.

Node Atlas began while building and teaching parametric instrument design at Contriver Guitars. The challenge was never creating geometry — it was understanding the structure that produced it. Whether you build instruments, products, furniture, fixtures, or mechanical systems, the atlas answers a deeper question than "what is this design?" It answers "how does this design work?"

Fusion remains the geometric execution layer. Node Atlas provides the map.

Contriver Node Atlas v1.1.0

This release includes interactive graph visualization, supported feature parameter editing, Script Node packaging and execution, ZIP-based Script Node import/export, saved graph organization tools, dependency tracing, focus tools, and refresh-state indication when the Fusion timeline changes.

Script Node packages are stored locally. Users are responsible for saving and backing up their own Fusion designs and Script Node library files.

Are there any known issues with this product?

Known limitations:

Some Fusion relationships may not be directly exposed through the Autodesk Fusion API, so certain graph connections may be inferred from available design data.
Very large or highly complex Fusion models may take longer to build, refresh, or layout.
Suppressed, broken, missing, or unresolved references in the source design may result in incomplete or unclear graph relationships.
Visual organization data such as saved views, groups, filters, manual edges, and layout adjustments, may be stored locally and may need to be reset if they become stale.
Manual visual organization does not modify Fusion’s native timeline, browser structure, feature order, or sketch geometry.
Feature editing is limited to supported Fusion feature types and exposed parameters. Script Node behavior depends on valid packaged Fusion geometry and compatible parameter names.

If the atlas appears out of sync, use Refresh first. If needed, restart Fusion or clear local atlas data where available.

Known limitations (wherever your listing carries these): Updating the add-in replaces the script node library folder — back up custom script nodes before updating.
