The Automation Job Processor (AJP) tool is accessible with a Workflow Advisor subscription—please reach out to wa-support@autodesk.com for subscription details and access.
- Automations for exporting Autodesk® Civil 3D® and Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™ models (including IFC, NWC, and DWG formats with 3D solids).
- Automation for exporting NWC and DWG files from Autodesk® Revit® models.
- The ability to create user-defined automations using Autodesk® AutoCAD® scripting, AutoLISP, Dynamo for Civil 3D, or custom add-ins.
- Support for working with local files or files stored in Autodesk Construction Cloud® (via Autodesk® Desktop Connector®).
- Batch processing through Windows Task Scheduler for running automation jobs on a set schedule.
The AJP is installed as a desktop application and uses an SQLite database (*.ajdb) to store and manage automation jobs. It can process multiple files, whether stored locally or on a network, and provides a streamlined approach to repeat tasks over the course of a project.

What else should I know about this product?
Click the View log file menu item to display the contents of the AutomationJobProcessor.log log file.
The log file is located in the C:\Users\\Documents folder. View the log file for information that has been logged during the running of automation jobs, such as errors that may have occurred. Information that is logged is always appended to the bottom of the log file.
The following is the format of logged information:

Where:
- - This is a date time of the information being logged, such as “2023-06-26 16:27:27”.
- - This is the type of information being logged, such as “Information”, “Warning”, or “Error”.
- - This is the source of the information being logged, such as a DWG file path, or the location in code (e.g., method name) where an error occurred.
- - This contains more detailed information of what is being logged, such as an exception message and a call stack in code for the exception, or specific information about a failure during the execution of an automation job.
It is recommended to check the log file regularly, especially if you are experiencing unexpected results when running an automation job.

NOTE: It is highly suggested that you follow the Recommend system requirements.

Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™
Required for syncing a Plant 3D Collaboration project when exporting Plant 3D model DWG files.
NOTE: The Plant 3D collaboration project must be synced once to the computer that is running the Automation Job Processor.
English Language Pack (if the software version is not English only) - If the software is installed in English, this is not required
Autodesk® Revit®
This is required if using the Revit add-ins for the Automation Job Processor.
Object Enabler for AutoCAD Plant 3D
NOTE: This is not the same as the Object Enabler for AutoCAD Plant 3D 20xx (Autodesk® Navisworks®).
This is required to export Plant 3D model DWG files.
