Enlazo - Parameter Link Propagation
AvantLeapEnlazo - Parameter Link Propagation
AvantLeapThe Enlazo is an add-in that automatically assigns parameter values from parent structural elements to nearby child elements using proximity detection.
$39.00
The Enlazo add-in for Autodesk® Revit® that automatically assigns parameter values from parent elements—such as structural columns, beams, or walls — such as structural columns, beams, or walls — to nearby child elements in any category, using spatial proximity detection. It eliminates the manual, error-prone process of copying parameter values one element at a time when elements share a structural or spatial relationship.
The workflow runs as follows. Choose the parent category and the parameter you want to read, then click Find Parent and select an element in the model. Enlazo highlights it in orange and displays its current parameter value. Next, choose the child category and the parameter to update, and click Find Children. Enlazo samples up to 50 points along the parent’s geometry, detects all elements within a 1 ft radius, and highlights them in blue. Review the detected children in the tree view, select the elements you want to update, confirm the value to assign, and click Save Data. Enlazo writes the parameter value to every selected child in a single Revit transaction. The whole workflow typically takes less than a minute per parent element.
BIM coordinators and structural engineers working on projects with repeated floor plates, zone-based parameter schemes, or cross-category spatial relationships often spend 5 to 10 hours per project assigning these parameters by hand. Enlazo reduces that effort to minutes. It is particularly effective for structural steel, concrete, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination projects, where zone, fire rating, or specification parameters must be transferred from primary structural members to nearby secondary and finish elements.
Key Features
Â
- Proximity detection. Samples up to 50 points along columns and curve-based elements to detect nearby child elements within a 1 ft radius.
- Cross-category assignment. Parent and child elements can belong to any Revit category that has writable instance parameters.
- Granularity control. Assign values to individual subcomponents, or only to top-level family instances. (See Part 4, item 4.)
- Manual Select mode. Add any element directly to the child list by selecting it in the model.
- Assignment log. Records every assignment in a local JSON file for each project, providing a complete audit trail.
- Audit command. Browse, filter, and review previous assignments, and select logged elements directly in the model.
- Revit compatibility. Supports Autodesk® Revit® 2023 through 2027.
Â
Note
Enlazo requires an active Revit project, and the parameters you assign must be writable instance parameters. In this release, the proximity tolerance is fixed at 1 ft (305 mm) and cannot be adjusted. Assignment logs are stored locally on your machine.
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
