ClashWise Starter turns generic Navisworks clash results such as "Clash847" into titles a coordinator can understand before opening every result. It also brings the repeatable local preparation around those tests into one Navisworks ribbon.

REVIEWABLE LOCAL AI TITLES

Select the clash tests and results you want to process, choose a naming standard and review every proposed title before applying it. Edit, regenerate, reject or retry individual rows. Nothing is renamed until you approve it, and an applied run is one Navisworks undo step.

SIX STANDARDS OR YOUR OWN FORMAT

Choose Basic, Detailed Descriptive, Component ID, By Discipline, AI Preferred or Mixed. Mixed can use only the standards you select. You can also build a deterministic token template from element names, types, IDs, levels and disciplines, with a live example from the open model.

LOCAL AND OFFLINE-CAPABLE

The AI engine runs as a separate process on your computer. With optional cloud fallback disabled, clash content stays on your machine during title generation. After sign-in, subscription verification and a one-time AI-model download, local naming can run without an internet connection. The separate process protects the Navisworks session if the AI engine needs to restart.

EXPLICIT PROPERTY MAPPING

Assign each appended model to a source value or property, set its discipline and add level overrides. The live preview uses the same confirmed mapping for titles and local coordination preparation, with no filename, category or AI fallback. Mappings can remain local to the saved federation.

PREPARE SEARCH SETS AND CLASH TESTS

Build reusable Search Sets with explicit AND/OR conditions, inclusions, exclusions and model or location scope. Preview matches before saving. Create or update managed Clash Tests while preserving their identity, edit name, type and tolerance, review the A/B selections and run checked tests in sequence. Navisworks still performs the clash detection.

GROUP AND RUN AS ONE REVIEWED WORKFLOW

Prepare grouping rules, preview the result and use Run and Publish as a local run sheet for selected tests, optional title generation and optional grouping. Cloud publication is available only with an eligible Clash Management plan.

CONTROL THE OUTPUT

Write the generated text to the clash title, description or comments; choose new clashes or all statuses; preserve the original title or test name; and decide whether to include previously updated clashes. Group clashes are handled as coordination issues rather than a wall of duplicate names. Original-title records are stored on the computer that performed the naming so you can restore them in a later session.

Use ClashWise in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Chinese (Simplified) or Chinese (Traditional). Generated titles can use the selected language.
