Clashguard
ModelFlowClashguard
ModelFlowFast, live clash detection for current and linked Autodesk® Revit® models, with clearance checking in mm and inch, visual review tools, issue tracking, reports, and a resizable docked panel.

ModelFlow ClashGuard provides fast and focused clash detection directly inside Autodesk® Revit®. It helps designers, engineers, and BIM coordinators identify geometric conflicts without leaving Revit or first exporting the project to a separate coordination application.
Clash checks can compare categories within the current Revit model, the current model against a loaded Revit link, or elements from different loaded linked models. This makes it possible to check workflows such as mechanical services against structural framing, pipes against architectural walls, cable trays against ceilings, or equipment against required access areas.
ClashGuard is designed for responsive performance. Category filtering limits each check to the elements that matter, while spatial candidate indexing avoids performing expensive geometry comparisons between unrelated elements. This allows targeted clash tests to complete quickly, even when the project contains a large number of model elements.
An optional clearance setting detects potential coordination problems before objects physically intersect. Users can enter a clearance distance in millimeters to find elements that are too close together, making it useful for installation tolerances, insulation zones, maintenance access, and required separation between building systems.
Results appear in a clear review table showing the involved model sources, elements, identifiers, status, and notes. Selecting a result allows the user to locate the clash in a suitable 2D view or open a dedicated 3D clash view. ClashGuard focuses the view around the conflict, applies separate colors to Object A and Object B, supports linked-model visualization, and can show a configurable clash marker.
ClashGuard also includes live detection. After Object Set A and Object Set B have been configured, live detection can monitor relevant changes made during the active Revit session. When affected elements are added or modified, ClashGuard checks the changed area during Revit idle time and notifies the user when a new conflict is found. This provides continuous coordination feedback without repeatedly checking the complete project after every modeling operation.
Each clash can be assigned a status such as Issue, Assigned, or Resolved. Notes can be added to individual results, providing a lightweight coordination workflow inside the Revit project. Results can also be exported as an HTML interference report or as a BCF package for use in compatible coordination applications.
The interface can be used as a regular modeless window or as a dockable Revit panel. The docked panel opens at a practical working height and can be resized taller or shorter with the Revit dock splitter. This allows ClashGuard to remain visible while the user continues navigating and editing the model.
