This application is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® that allows you to efficiently manage a library of insertable Families (.rfa) and System Families using files (.rvt).
The user-generated family library can be shared with as many Revit users as necessary.
Using a centralized cloud-based library that is constantly updated is one of the most effective ways to collaborate on a project among multiple users.
In addition to sharing the same set of objects, the program makes it easier to insert and update them when the library owner generates new versions.

Tools available in ApliCAD UpdateBIM:

Cloud Access

• Access your personal library with the advantage of a search engine and secure cloud storage.
• Access public libraries from manufacturers who publish their products in ApliCAD UpdateBIM.
• Access private libraries where you have been invited as a collaborator, ensuring that the latest approved versions of objects are used.

Project Analysis

• This tool provides an interface to query all the elements inserted in the project, with various functionalities:

  · Search and select an element for later editing.
  · Double click to reinsert the selected object with the same type.
  · Insert any type within a family, even if it hasn’t been previously inserted in the project.

• It works in any project, even if it does not have elements inserted from the ApliCAD UpdateBIM cloud.

• Its use is always free, regardless of the number of shared users or the volume of information.

Content Manager (Private Cloud and Manufacturer)

• This is a paid tool that allows manufacturers to publish their catalogs to share with clients/prescribers. For private companies, it enables sharing their catalog only with invited users.
• Manage your library by adding or editing objects in the cloud.
• Add or remove invited users.
• Add, edit, or delete families in your cloud.

Settings

• Change the application's language.
• View a graph of the number of shared users and the volume of data used in the current month.
• Get a cost estimate for the services used in the current month.

Note: This application uses a custom installer and not the standard App Store installer.
