Adam AI CAD Copilot
Adam is an AI-powered CAD co-pilot that works directly inside Fusion to help engineers design more efficiently using natural language. It automates repetitive modeling tasks and simplifies complex workflows by intelligently organizing and renaming feature trees, merging redundant features, and parameterizing designs with variables.
With Adam, users can describe what they want to change in plain English, and the system understands the structure of their CAD models to execute those updates accurately and safely. All edits are context-aware, preserving design intent while reducing manual rework.
Adam is currently in live and rapidly evolving!

Key Benefits
- Save hours on repetitive modeling work by automating feature creation, sketch constraints, and variable setup
- Maintain cleaner, more readable models through intelligent feature tree renaming and restructuring
- Iterate faster by editing designs and generating geometry using natural language commands
- Improve team collaboration with standardized feature structures and parameterized models.
Example Prompts
- Merge redundant extrude features and simplify my feature tree
- Rename all features in this Part Studio to be more descriptive
- Add four mounting holes, 5mm in diameter, evenly spaced on this face
- Increase the wall thickness from 2mm to 3mm everywhere
- Round all sharp edges with a 2mm fillet
