Frame Prism
FRAMEFrame Prism
FRAMEDockable Autodesk® Revit® panel to color-code elements by parameter values for fast QA/QC. Includes legend counts and one-click isolated by color/value. View-only overrides with instant reset.
Free
Frame Prism is a free QA/QC visual tool for Autodesk® Revit® that helps you quickly detect inconsistencies by applying temporary, view-only color coding based on element parameters (for example: Level, Type Mark, Comments, or any filterable parameter).
Key features
- Dockable panel (draggable) inside Revit for a seamless workflow.
- Category + Parameter selection to target a specific set of elements in the active view.
- Color rules: assign stable colors per distinct parameter value (e.g., each Level value becomes a color).
- Legend table: shows color indicator + value label + element count (including “No value/None”).
- Isolate by selection: isolate one or multiple legend rows to focus on problem areas.
- Non-destructive: uses view overrides only (does not change model materials). Includes Clear/Reset.
Typical use cases
- Quickly see if elements are on the wrong level.
- Identify missing values (e.g., “Type Mark” empty).
- Detect mixed standards across a category (naming/parameters).
Requirements
- Revit 2026 (64-bit Windows).
- WebView2 Runtime (typically already installed on Windows; installer guidance included in documentation).
Privacy
Frame Prism runs locally inside Revit. By default, it does not transmit model data externally. (See Privacy Policy for details.)
