Virtual Tablet Navigator (VTN) is an add-in app coded entirely using AutoLISP®/Visual LISP® offering 100% Autodesk® AutoCAD® compatibility. VTN takes the Tablet Menu commands in AutoCAD and visually presents them on the screen for selection. Now users without a physical digitizer tablet can select these built-in AutoCAD commands using Virtual Tablets on the screen. VTN divides the 2018 Dwg Format Tablet Menu in the AutoCAD template into 8 Virtual Tablet areas to be presented on the screen.

Using VTN's Navigator window users can click on one of these Virtual Tablet areas to navigate to the corresponding Tablet Menu and then select the AutoCAD commands on the screen.

The following are the 8 Virtual Tablet areas:

DRAW TABLET - Brings up the commands on the Draw Tablet Menu

EDIT/SNAP/MODIFY/DATABASE TABLET - Brings up the commands on the Edit/Snap/Modify/Database Tablet Menu

FILE TABLET - Brings up the commands on the File Tablet Menu

INSERT/FORMAT/DIMENSION TABLET - Brings up the commands on the Insert/Format/Dimension Tablet Menu

NUMERIC TABLET - Brings up the commands on the Numeric Tablet Menu

TOOLS TABLET - Brings up the commands on the Tools Tablet Menu

USER TABLET - Brings up on to the screen Tablet Menu area 1 - this area is purposely left blank for users to add their own commands

VIEW TABLET - Brings up the commands on the View Tablet Menu
